「妳認為生命的價值是甚麼？」

劉艾娜從大學畢業後，為了找一份穩定的政府工作，她向「安樂院」—一所讓向法院和政府申請安樂死病者輪候居住的醫院遞表申請入職，可是在面試的過程中狀況連連，甚至回答不了面試官的問題。

但劉艾娜卻順利入職，當她入職後面對這所充滿矛盾，亂七八糟的醫院，面對不同的病人得知他們背後的故事後，從一開始鄙視生命意志弱病人的觀點慢慢改變，更漸漸明白到當初面試官問題的目的和生命的價值⋯ ⋯

「很多東西看似是有自由及人權讓你選擇，但這只是表面上而已。我們窮人不是沒有選擇權利，只能被逼選擇⋯ ⋯選擇輪候安樂死，在輪候中受著痛苦折磨。」

申請資格:

1.承受肉體痛苦的末期絕症病人。

2.患有不治之症及重病病人。

3.患有重度精神病或身體有缺憾使病人心理承受痛苦。

4.如心理承受無比痛苦而失去生存意志的申請者，需兩名精神科醫生證明方可申請。

末期絕症病人可申請縮短安樂死的期限。

本故事純屬虛構，如有雷同純粹巧合。
