Obsidian woke up soon after her vision, groggy and confused. It was dawn, so a little sun filtered through the hole opening. Obsidian quietly and carefully squeezed out of the hole opening and wandered around. She had no idea what to do.
What could ‘beware of the dark’ mean? Literally avoid the dark? Avoid Darkness? Avoid dark rabbit holes? Avoid dark colored cats?
But wait, I am a black cat.
Then what could it mean? Do I have to avoid going into dark caves? Do I have to go back to the academy? What does it mean?
Sometimes I wish I could be at least semi normal.
Why am I part of this prophecy? I’m just a shy, quiet black cat that happens to be a Demi-god! Can destiny choose more Sherbert’s that actually want to be part of something great? Can destiny just leave me alone? Can I just live in a more peaceful world?
All of these random thoughts came up in Obsidian’s mind as she paced back and forth. She did not realize someone was standing behind her, trying to scare her.
“Boo!” Sherbert yelled from behind Obsidian.
Obsidian jumped in surprise and glanced behind her. When she saw Sherbert she calmed down a little.
“I’m pretty sneaky, am I?” Sherbert bragged. “Of course I am, I’m great at everything!”
“Well you’re not so great at not bragging.” Obsidian muttered under her breath.
“What’s all this commotion about?” Asked Snow as she squeezed out of the rabbit hole.
“Nothing.” Obsidian mumbled.
“I snuck up on her!” Sherbert replied. “I’m great at everything!”
“No you’re not!” Snow responded. “No one can be great at everything! That would make them a real life Mary Sue! And Mary Sues only exist in poorly made tales for kittens!”
“Fine, then. I’m great at ALMOST everything.” Sherbert replied. “That better?”
“I guess.” Snow responded.
“Can we just get going?” Obsidian asked in a whisper.
“Okay.” Snow replied.
The three cats then set off for the mountains, again. They walked through the beautiful forest until dusk. And after that they still had another ten miles to travel. Of course they found another tree hollow and went to sleep.404Please respect copyright.PENANAPoKZn90kPN

Obsidian awoke beside a lake. She was, of course, confused because she fell asleep in a hollow tree. But she eventually realized she was dreaming.
Suddenly, Marshmallow appeared in front of her again. She was transparent this time, but not very.
“Why are you here this time?” Obsidian asked.
“I have another warning for you.” Marshmallow replied.
“What?” Obsidian asked in a whisper.
“Beware of the orange cat, for he has more intentions than helping you.” Marshmallow replied in a wise voice.
“Will you leave yet?” Obsidian asked.
“No, for I have an extension to the prophecy as well.” Marshmallow responded.
“Then what else do you have?” Obsidian asked in a mumble.
“The extension goes like this: wind, so quiet, will start a storm. Nature so delicate, will seek revenge. Fire so brash, will feed the fire. Water so heavy, will fail the weakened light. And the stronger light will conquer the darkness.” Marshmallow answered in a wise tone. Then, Marshmallow faded away, and Obsidian’s vision went black.404Please respect copyright.PENANA4IgXKnOtnZ

When Obsidian woke the next morning, she was the last one to wake. Sherbert and Snow were sitting outside, patiently waiting. After the three cats ate breakfast, they set off again. They made some decent progress this time, traveling two whole miles before dusk. But the whole time, Obsidian was recalling some history she learned before she left.
There was a generation of cats that came long before us. Those cats were cruel and harsh. Any runt of the litter or different cats were picked on by everyone, unlike today, where those cats are pitied. Many runts had a hard time surviving, many turned to the god of evil for power.
One such example was Blanco, a pure white cat. Blanco was the runt of her litter. Because of that, almost everyone she met picked on her. There was nothing she could do to stop it, the government would not do anything since they also picked on her. So she decided to make a deal with the god of evil. She would be all mighty and powerful, in exchange for turning evil. Soon after she made the deal, she started committing many crimes including murder and physical abuse.
People say that when cats like Blanco die, they are revived with only half of their soul. The missing half is replaced with evil fire. Evil fire that will outline the cat for all eternity, as a reminder to all the evil and suffering they caused.
Could Darkness have been one of those cats?
It would make sense, he has fire outlining him. And that fire is not normal. He has a lot of power that no Demi-god has. He also has done bad deeds, both during his lifetime and after being revived. And he seems to have been small during his life. Maybe he is one of those cats.404Please respect copyright.PENANAPQK6gb4z1X
