breaking through my window and attacking me with its hopeful energy, that I had certainly never asked for, informing me that it's the start of a new day.
Unlike usual, this was the first day -in my second term - of my last high school year experience, although it's the same school I've been in since middle school, it's still a start of a new term ! - I was trying to be hopeful , please do understand -
After, I took my daily shower finishing it off with dressing up and struggling a bit with my hair, trying to look new and fresh, maybe even cool.
That I even resorted to recreating some movie character's hairstyles with the same hair colour as mine .
And let's just say that, I failed.
miserably.

I headed out of my room and towards the kitchen to get my lunch box, and have my breakfast that might cheer me up, after my failed attempt, and maybe even get to play for awhile with my little baby sister, her smile was quite what i needed at the moment .
One other thing, is that we have a uniform to follow and it isn't quiet the pretty anime kind , rather it's hideous and what's more worse is how it looks on me; that I am sure a hyena would look more attractive than me .
It was a yellow skirt with strokes of red, green and orange with long thick extensions, underneath it was a sugar coloured shirt with the school symbol above my chest.
My sibling looked at me when I entered the kitchen, some welcoming me with either a hug or a hello.
While my second sister looked me up and down and ended it with a chuckle, returning back to her food.
Unlike my reddish brown hair, brown eyes and kind of chubby body, due to me not being as tall, with fair skin.
She had her hair as dark as her soul - or so i like to compare - and her eyes the same colour making it go perfectly with her tanned skin , that makes her look like an arabian beauty especially with her tall and slender figure - that sometime I envy her for - had to just say a sarcastic comment " wow you look so cool, that even barbie would be jealous" which really didn't help my current situation and as a sibling, not replying back in such situations isn't good , especially since my dignity is involved so, I did the obvious.
I flipped my hair and said with a sassy voice, while pulling the chair to sit down " I know right? It's natural beauty dear , something you'll never have" she just rolled her eyes at me and returned back to eating her cereal , which received a chuckle from me.
Then suddenly I felt a tug on my sleeve, I looked to the side at my second younger sister "what?" I asked she looked questionably at me, then pointed downwards towards the actual culprit who did that and returned back to eating her biscuits and drinking her milk.
Finally, the one who I needed the most my baby sister, who tugged at my sleeve again with a smile.
She had fair skin, brown eyes and dark golden hair like our dad, holding into my uniform and calling my name "lothe lothe !!" Putting her hands up mentioning for me to hold her.
That was just so adorable !!!
I made her sit on my lap while I fed her, since that was mostly the reason that she even bothered to talk to me, no worries though since it's a win-win for both of us.
Anyways , back to the topic , I waited for my bus to arrive since sadly the school is far away to go there walking .

After, the little bus trip to school and avoiding -or trying to avoid, the noise pollution caused by kids younger than me.
Although it ended in failure, since I ended up separating two younger kids from removing each other's heads.
But aside from that we finally reached school and as I was entering I heard my name being called, which made me halt in my tracks "what the heck?" I looked behind me looking around trying to find the owner of such voice but not succeeding and as I was about to turn around to walk away I heard my name once again being called out once again but louder.
And suddenly out of no where someone jumped on my locking me in a hug between my head and their arms "wh-- ah!!" And no one would dare to do that expect my besti- Mai " good, I caught up to ya. Stop walking so damn fast " the more she talked the more tighter her grip around my head got "okay okay I'm sorry just let me go!! Pleease~" I whined patting her hand.
"Shesh, weakling!" She said sitting me free "seriously! You can't just go doing that geez, you just have short legs, don't blame me on that!" I teased her while still creasing my poor neck.
She scoffed at my remark " oh please you're just jealous that I'll be called cute no matter what "
"So that's why you're still short , your ego is taking all that calcium " I chuckled, waiting for her to come up with a better comeback .
" at least my brain is getting nutrition unlike you, feeding your inner esteem that you seem to be losing "
That was actually a good one but obviously I can't say that, and I am unable to get any good comebacks so, I did the obvious and changed the topic ! What else would I have done ?
"anyways, have you heard about that new drama? "
Looks like she knew what I did, cause she smirked " can't find a cool comeback ? That's good , learn how to respect your elders my dear " she finished with a proud 'hum' since she is half a year older than me .
" yea yea whatever "
" -but yea I did " continued Mai " but I am not that into it that much since - "
I stopped in my track " what do you mean ?! How could you betray me! You're the one the got me into that shit! -" before I could even complain more we were in front of our classes " my name is over here " she was trying to change the subject, and she succeeded " is it ? What about mine?!" I asked in hopes that destiny is finally on my side, while looking on the students list on one of the classrooms door's.
" nope , looks like you're in the other class " with her saying that , she earned a grumble from me " but I don't wanna be alone ~ what shall I do with my miserable life without my one and only friend ~ I shall be called a loner from now one and shall also become an outcast! What if something strange occur and they all blamed me since I'll have no one to defend my poor soul! "
She laughed at my reaction " hey I am being all dramatic over here !" I whined with a pout.
" please, you're just being extra clingy and besides, you're foot at making friends I don't think it will be such a big deal for you. Aaand~ on the other side we could witness some drama in both classes and laugh about them in break? what about that ?"
" wait ... so you're simply saying I'm a clingy person and you're trying to let go of me ?" I said with a pout .
" come now my child , this is not the least bit true as you already know -"
"Mother knows best ~" I sang the last part .
Which caused her to smile awkwardly at me " never do that again right ? " I asked her with a nervous chuckled
" yes please "
" then never do speak of that again " I replied, we broke into laughter after few seconds of complete silence.
Then out of no where I shivered, so I hugged myself and looked at Mai, and as I tried to tell her about that she signed to me with her hand that our coordinator was standing right behind us, so our only resort out of this was to go our separate ways " let's get into our classes , shall we ? "
" yup , see ya !"
With that we headed our separate ways , each one of us to our own classes and miseries.
And thus, this marks my first day.
