Shopping streets

Busy walkways

I sense a little change

Once I noticed two men

Very much in love

Walking hand in hand

Past a local pub

Then a jeer burst my mood

As strangers laughed and mocked

Those happy two

It takes a simple moment

To question and mourn

Yet one day

One day

I hope moments like that

Never happen at all
