A story played out by myself in a D&D session as an 'into the past' for one of my NPCs which my players have come to love... and hate at times, from a blood hunter triumphant, betrayed by the gods for him to rise as the very being that took his powers away... a God... and how he purges his realm with mischief... and magic.
