I was walking down the hall headed to English class and talking to my best friend Stacy. We were only in Junior high at the time. I noticed that an older guy in our grade looked my way. His name was Scotty. We went to class and then I started to take notice of the things Scotty would do. Months of friendship went by and the school dance was coming up. I was hoping Scotty would ask me. "Scotty asked me out! We are official!!" She said and I knew Scotty had made a mistake. Somewhere in his mind he thought Stacy was the girl who he had been exchanging loving glances at all these years. I had to fix this before he ruined his life.
"That's Great. Looks like I'll be alone." I said to make her feel guilty. No way should Scotty be going with her. She must have seen all the loving glances he gave me. She was always there when he gave them to me.
The night of the dance came. I tried to dance with Scotty all night but he only wanted to dance with Stacy. I needed to convince him that she was just a whore, that was undeserving of his love.
I went online and used all my babysitting money to pay a guy to seduce Stacy and take a video and pictures. A week went by and the pictures were in. I sent it to the whole school via a new phone I had bought specifically for this. I only had to sell my old bike, but who cares. You do what you have to do for love.
The next day she was found out to be a whore. The whole school tormented her just like she deserved. I played the consoling best friend to keep Scotty from thinking otherwise.
Two days passed and they were still together. Why wouldn't he break up with that whore?!!!! I had to get rid of her once and for all. I suggested to her that we go on a girls camping trick like old times. She agreed. We drove up all the way to a mountain known to have wolves. I made sure I was close to the rangers station so I could be the one saved. We set up our tents and even started a fire. We went to sleep and I made sure to leave food open by her tent after she fell asleep. I climbed a tree and waited. It wasn't until about midnight that a few wolves came growling. They ripped through the food and woke up Stacy. Stacy came out and screamed. I looked down with a scared look as she saw me. I watched her be ripped to shreds by the wolves who felt threatened by her scream. I began to make myself cry and act scared. The wolves eventually left, but I stayed awake in the tree all the way until morning. It was cold and the shaking became natural, but I kept crying
The rangers found us in the morning and helped me get down from the tree. "What happened?" he asked.
"I went in the tree to get a better look at the stars when the wolves came and t... tore my friend to shreds." I said with a bit of a cry in there. I wouldn't miss that girl one bit. I went through interview after interview recounting my memories of what had happened. I went home and my parents refused to ever let me go camping again. I agreed and let myself be 'consoled' by Scotty when he came over to my house to grieve with me. Time went on and we forgot about her. We would do all of Scotty's favorite activities and I would do my best to be a good 'friend'. I waited for years until he finally asked me out. From that day I made sure I was the perfect girlfriend and eventually wife. The depths of my love for him had finally succeeded in gaining what I always wanted, him. With one look, on the day of our wedding, I knew he was happier than he had ever been with that she who shall not be named.
I never told him what I did. He wouldn't understand, but I was always the perfect wife. The first time I told him I loved him he asked, "When did you know?"
