人活著沒有人不是為了功名，但賀明羽連最簡單的生活都遭受嚴重的打壓，在他八歲時一度有要自我了結的念頭，可當這時有一人偷偷地走到了賀明羽的房間，敲了敲房門，開門一看居然是自己的父親，賀明羽便不耐煩的回「你不是要全力的栽培他嗎？為什麼還來看一個連下人都不如的渣。」他的父親回「如果你知道那天的狀況…。」賀明羽也不想再理會他，他也說了一句「天神鬼怪無可擋、我以實力做自強。」頃刻間天空飄了些雪，而現在正值六月，他抬頭看著眼前這景色，他流下了眼淚，但怪異的是這雪越飄越大，他的父親看到了也驚覺不好，即說「古人云：『六月雪；冤重矣。」此時在宅院裡賀明易對奶奶說：「奶奶這片雪景如此地美，為何不到後院賞雪呢？」奶奶即說：「這雪景觸情，可奶奶身子弱容易得風寒的。」此時卻有一個身影在這片雪景中，他跪下了，哭喊著「六月雪，冤呀！」，屋中的她聽到後就跟管家說：「給我打到他叫不出聲為止。」，一陣毆打過後，賀明羽氣弱的說：「我賀明羽若老天給我機會我便會珍惜不辜負。」從此賀明羽跟賀家結下了樑子。
