Due to an experiment gone wrong, while playing with her mother’s or sister’s magical kit; never knowing that it was the real thing. It causes her to hear and sometimes see spirits. Being declared a misfit, Amethyst family sends her to an Elite high security boarding school for ne'er do wells called Erebus.
