This constant state of quiet will go quietly

And leave behind nothing more

But it was never really love anyways

Because it drove me to always hate

And life is like this steady poison

Because it is slowly numbing the blood in my veins

Sometimes it just hurts less when you let it go

And that is the only thing I will believe
