Tears rattled my body as I sat in a cold dark corner of their ship. Travis couldn't have been an Outsider, he smiled like a human and laughed like a human. How could he do this?
The world has gone into chaos after the secret got out to the public about the Outsiders. Almost every available man and woman was sent into boot camps to learn the basics before heading into war.
Little did they know the Outsiders have no form, they took over humans making them turn on each other.
My heart raced as I recalled the moment when the first gunshot rang off at our people. Travis and I had ditched all our old boot camp buddies and decided to go on our own to complete the mission - Search And Destory.
But, instead of helping me with the mission he turned his gun on me. I was too stunned to even move but, when I didn't move my gun down he let a warning bullet that hit my left leg.
I held my left leg from just the memory, of course they healed it for me and took the bullet out. It just confuses me that they are Outsiders but, they are us, humans.
After being healed I was sent to rot in a cell..... Alone with only my memories to haunt me.
The door to my cell of a sudden was thrown open and there he stood, Travis..... His face was full of blood and his clothes smelled of metal.
"Search And Destory, Kyle." He smiled at me while throwing a gun at my feet.
