這本是書記述了有關作者還是救護員時的工作點滴，內文寫了救護員處理不同事件時的工作程序和寫了一些救護員專業用語，例如DBA 或EMI 等。另外，在章節後段，作者會寫上「救護日常」，記述一些特別用語，並詳細解釋當中意思。
我覺得這本書好的地方是作者利用平日的工作經歷，說明救護員的平日工作內容，以及他們為救人而失去很多休息和用膳時間，令讀者可以感受到體會救護員工作的心酸。
另外，書中提及了很多的專業詞彙，部份詞彙更是不能在網上找出來的，因此我覺得這本書可以為一些以救護員為目標的讀者建立一個對救護員的簡單基礎認識，為未來的夢想作準備。
但也有不足的地方，就是口語太多。這個方法雖然可以方便作者的表達溝通，文章內容和表達意思可以清晰，但是這做法令到讀者未必舒服，影響閱讀趣味。同時，這做法令到讀者的數量被局限，只有部分地區的人才看得懂，難以把這本書推廣到其他地方。
