Waking up in the middle of nowhere is the one of the scariest things that can happen. I happen to be in that scenario.
No matter how far I walk, I seem to end up in the same place. No matter the distance I stare off to, I can't see a horizon. What's weird is that no one is with me.
How did I end up here? I can't seem to remember. The only thing I remember is that I was sent here for a reason. I was only given two things: a match and a knife.
I don't even know what the purpose to use them. Am I supposed to make a fire? I can't with a single match. Am I supposed to use the knife to kill someone? There's no one around. What is the purpose? Why am I even here?
In the peripheral of my eye there is a movement. I turn, yet no one was there.
"Hello?" I call out.
No answer. Just trees rustling in the wind. It's too dark. Too big. Too...empty. No one. No one at all.
"Anyone here?" I call out one more time, yet no answer.
Yet again, I see another movement in the corner of my eye. I turn again, and no one. No one there.
My heart starts beating faster and faster. I don't know what is happening. I can't seem to figure out anything. Maybe my purpose wasn't supposed to kill. Maybe...just maybe it is supposed to be killed.
