　　馬克放棄了，他走出門，我把玻璃後的木牌翻到打烊那一面。

　　這時她正好進門，頭髮濕淋淋的，顯然在雨中跑過，她美麗的雙眼早已哭紅。

　　「噢，傑生。」她撲進我懷裡放聲大哭，我抱緊她，親吻她的頭頂。

　　「噓，我的天使。沒事了。」我安撫她，撥開黏在她前額的髮絲：「告訴我吧。」

　　她對我傾訴一切，說著她和另一個人之間的種種。

　　我明白我無權插手，我更明白她永遠不會是我的。

　　這不是我第一次這樣安慰她，也不會是最後一次。在她的每一次失戀、心碎，每一次墜落時，我總會在那裡接住我受傷的天使。

　　她卻從來不知道。

　　「妳會找到更好的，好嗎？」我們坐在咖啡店角落那張特別為她準備的小沙發上，我摟著她說：「相信我。」
