Talyn went after the woman, an arrow now in place, ready to fire. She could hear the woman's heels in the hallway, and the wind blew the door shut with a slam, making Talyn flinch as she slipped inside.

The place was small, but clean, with no lights on at all. Talyn squinted through the dark.

The woman crept to one of the bedrooms, going through the nice, clean, kitchen, to one of the bedrooms.
Talyn stayed crouched by the table, watching the woman turn the knob and peek inside. She saw the woman smile, a smile that sent shivers down Talyn's spine. Dropping her cloak behind her, revealing black armor, and large, sharp blades connected to the arm pieces, the woman's grin widened. She was about to step in. "Oh.. This will be a treat," she hissed under her breath, barely audible.

And then Talyn's arrow hit her arm. The woman froze, didn't even flinch, looking at the arrow.
"You didn't think I'd notice you sneaking in?" Her face slipped into anger. She ripped the arrow out, turning towards Talyn, who straightened up and smiled nervously.

The woman snarled, flashing her white teeth at Talyn, and lunging at her. Talyn dove to the side, rolling back onto her feet and loading another arrow. The woman slammed into one of the cabinets, glass plates shattering like rain onto the floor. The woman shook her head, her eyes glowing yellow as she stood up, looking pissed.

"Uh-oh," Talyn said. a small girl had stepped out of the room the woman had peeked inside of, eyes wide, and her mom had stepped out of her own room as well, looking just as confused and frightened. "What the hell?" The mom whispered, staring.

They spent the rest of dinner talking. Then Will and Clint were arguing back in forth about who should get the last slice of pizza, the one who saved the other from being cut into tiny pieces by a soul-eating woman, or the one who was the prettiest and hungriest. While they were distracted, Talyn took the last slice and ate it, both of which didnt notice until Diana collected the empty boxes and made to throw them away.
