這是個關於人和非人之物的世界尚未分隔的古老物語，以布里塔尼亞大陸為舞台，描述由七位大罪人所組成的傳說騎士團——〈七大罪〉的記錄。

在布里塔尼亞第一的大國．里歐涅絲王國內，聖騎士們為即將到來的「聖戰」而進行著軍備強化，當中諸多的暴行使整個國家民不聊生。

擔憂國家現狀的第三王女伊麗莎白，为了拯救國家而踏上尋找七大罪的旅程。而在一家酒館裡，結識了好色、逍遥的梅利奧達斯，梅花豬霍克，和善良、獨立的愛麗兒。 四人一同踏上拯救國家未來的旅程。
