I always thought about life.

Contemplating deeply;

On how it came to be.

Its contents. True meaning. Essence.

As I am writing this, I lay on the grass.

Feeling the softness of the jade tips on my skin

Indulging in the coolness of the afternoon breeze

Basking in the picturesque view of the setting sun.

I absorb the existential force;

Of all the terrestrial entities around me.

And the mystical aura of the heavens

Intertwine with my soul.

Has anyone ever felt this?

It seems that the world revolves around you;

And the bliss of the feeling

Entices you to know life more.

Am I the only one who;

Has this unquenchable curiosity?

To explore life and fully understand;

Its essence ‘til the last drop?

Does an invisible link exist?

That binds everything

And balances the harmony

Of this universe?

Do you believe in an omnipotent being?

That can give each and every individual’s life a purpose?

Do you think that the world

Was already laid before mankind

Without a credible origin?

Can you even imagine yourself

Not living anymore?

This question puzzles my mind.

Everything will eventually lead to death.

Think of this for a second. The moment you die, everything will fade to pitch black and then…

Where do we go?

We’ll never know until the end.

But, before we can answer my last question

We still have lives to live, people to love

And dreams to achieve.

Now, as the sky shifts to darkness

And the night sky boasted its majestic display of stars

It gave me the idea that after your life is finally set, maybe

Just maybe.
