After speaking with my friend Yenjin (his game name) I got to thinking as I'm baffled to how Assistant cannot use magic yet is dad can. Well aside from my theory he could revive Conductor due to a piece of the White Dragon's essence being inside him so it is fueled off the part that's inside Conductor, thus can work off each other almost like a force powering another force....if that makes any sense. Now if his father was a half breed that means he would have both human and dragon blood inside him. From what we know from anime shows, games, and manga that it's more likely a half breed would resemble the human parent. This would add into also, granted Assistant's mother was human, about Assistant not using magic due to the diluted dragon bloodline he has with his father. This would be due to the fact you have 1 full human and roughly 1/2 human bloodlines as compared to roughly 1/2 dragon bloodline. The dragon line would be diluted and thus weaker and allow harder access or no access to such magic or strength associated with it. If this dragon is a relative of his father's I'm not sure but it could be. Or it could be a pet. But if it's a pet and Assistant isn't allowed down there then normally pets attack right off the bat if someone enters an area they aren't supposed to, because that person isn't the master. But the dragon does not attack just glares Assistant down. If it were a family member on his father's side of whichever of his father's parents had the dragon bloodline, then that would probably make more sense. So until this random burst of thought is proven wrong I'm putting this out there cause I can, I want to, and I don't know how to properly add mentions to journal entry's. The basic thought theory Yenjin and I came up with to explain Assistant not being able to use magic like Conductor and his father can, is his father is a half breed so to speak. I'd give more detailed percentages but I don't know them and it's easier to say half breed ^^. So yup his father, in our theory, is he has 1 human parent and 1 dragon parent. Then his parents, the dragon one probably had both dragon parents thus a full breed and the human probably had both human parents thus a full breed as well. The dragon we see since it doesn't strike Assistant we're thinking might be a relative. This makes me think Assistant's mother is dead or they got divorced. Yet given how mean his father is I am going with dead. I doubt he'd really want someone else running around that can speak on who he is or try to rally up another force against him alongside Conductor or someone else. Because it'd be easy enough to try for another son and just disown Assistant, or murder him, but I doubt, if his wife is dead, would want to go through the hassle of finding another woman just to try and have a son who doesn't find what he does as disgusting. Or even a female heir would possibly be acceptable.
