Bant is a member of the kingdom of Jorlas's most feared and respected group of warriors: The Hidden Swords. But after restoring the kingdom to order after a rebellion he is given a new posting. While he is settling in rumours start to appear. Rumors which if they are true could prove to be disastrous. Bant and his friend Coll, with Bant's new apprentice, soon find themselves in the thick of it.
