Does the life I seek provoke solitude

Because it doesn't bend to your like?

I'm caged by your negative attitude

And bound into deep silence by your sight.

You never speak of the forbidden 

Refusing my life- I sit here and cry

I can't live by your honored tradition

Because then I would be living a lie.

Shunned; hate me as an ungrateful traitor 

Leave me on the side of the road today-

Forget me tomorrow. My behavior

Will never my sworn sacrifices portray.

If my life and my love are not my own

Then my life had not an existence shown.
