Now in the days of cold and snow, well if there will be any. I look forward to be cuddled and played in the warm living-room or Mama's bedroom. I'm a cat. A cat with three colours on my soft and shiny coat, well it should be shiny. I can't make the colours because I'm colour blind but they different shades of grey. I take good care of myself. Watch that all my white paws stay white. Sharpen my claws at the foot of the sofa or where my Ma and Pa want on specific board.
Mostly I just sleep, play, eat and bore myself to death. Especially when everyone is gone for some time until dark. Did I mention that I have an annoying and stupid big sister? I love and hate her at the same time. She is almost never there for me. Always hanging about in her room. Her room does look normal but there is something awkward about that I can't tell. She always welcomes me but I refuse, too creepy. Aside that she knows how massage a cat and sleeping on her lap is something special because she rarely sits calm in the same position for a long while.
Almost everyday I get played from Mama with a simple piece of string. It sharpens my instincts and letting out my frustrations. Mostly when everyone is out I get scared of being alone and so start to sing. Sometimes it's so quiet that I forgot that they are here already. They look at me annoyed, angered or concerned. For me it is a pleasant surprise to see them pop before me.
With strangers, dogs and other cats I am very, very cautious. In worst situations I pack a punch and face it with a warning hiss and bearing my sharp white teeth. Many years ago I had friend who sadly left and never came back and he was my backup with facing strangers. Including the other deaf 18-year old who was able to say farewell before leaving. At first he was okay but then with his deafness and Alzheimer he just got on my nerves day and night. I just could not hold it out and punched his ass or chased him down the entire flat or air-garden (balcony).
Now I'm all on my own and manage it quite well. I enjoy the full attention of my family. Even the nerves of my big two-legged sister. When ever I want something from her she then has barely any time and when she comes to me then the time is not right for me. Tough luck I would say.
Now a bowl of milk and some boiled chicken would be very nice before I throw up over my favorite cuddle blanket or the floor. My stomach is very sensitive. I have to watch out not to eat fast but when your starving for a whole day!
