Two months have passed without a single incident. It has been strangely quiet, and all of my fellow soldiers have gotten antsy.
Though in the dark of the night, when all was silent, an attack did occur. After the period of complete silence from the enemy encampments, we were weary though still caught off guard.
Over three hundred enemies were standing on the frontlines, I took my sword in hand and defended to the best of my capabilities. We lost many men that night. And as I write this, I am reminded of a dear friend of mine who I had lost.
