I am ugly.

My hair is frizzy,

my eyes look weird.

I am ugly.

My legs are imperfect,

My chin as well.

I am ugly.

I am thin and have long limbs,

but I am clumsy.

I am ugly.

I look beautiful but only with the mask of makeup.

It makes my eyes look better,

my lips darker.

It makes me feel beautiful.

I wear jeans to hide my ugly legs.

But why?

Because society says.

My hair isn’t super long, so I can’t wear all the cute styles.

I don’t wear the trendiest clothes.

My face isn’t as pretty as other girls’.

Therefore I feel ugly.

All because of my twisted perspective that society has given me.

I could be beautiful.

But I will never know.

Because I feel ugly.

So I will keep on believing that I am.
