When I was only five

I held a green leaf

Close to my heart

My life or so my story starts

Few days later

No longer brighter

It had said its last goodbye 

No wonder I sit and cried

I kept trying

Nothing worked

Sunlight bright

Dying in the depths of the earth

More tears

More questions

Until one class I learnt

That nothing lasts forever

Nature will always have its turn
