In a future where scientists stand ready to push the evolution of the human species by eliminating the human drive for romantic love, one grad student questions the effect romantic love has already had on our society and how eliminating it might effect the future. To answer that question she has created two programs, but when their love is recursive she may discover something more --- This is a series of short stories with an over-arching plot line, much like The Martian Chronicles or The Painted Man by Ray Bradbury only way more romance. Although to be honest I don't know if this is a Science Fiction parading as a Historical Romance or a Historical Romance parading as a Science Fiction.
