Hello writers

I would like to apologise for the extremely long delay in announcing the results. All of the entries were very well-written, with a variety of takes on the first sentence I gave as the prompt. After some thinking time, I am happy to announce the winner is Sarah Louise with her entry The King Is Dead; Long Live The King. The runner-up spot goes to Imascribble with her entry Trapped and 3rd place is awarded to MV with their entry The Thing In My Cellar.
