I'm writing about this demon in my history class. Why? Because we have nothing to do and I'm b-o-r-e-d. We're supposed to be working on something online, and copy every painstaking answer on the poorly formatted sheet subsequently on a paper I don't have because I was out getting my meds because of my first demon. Even though it's graded, this isn't bothering me. Why? Because I'm b-o-r-e-d. And when I'm bored, nothing gets done.
Oh, everyone thinks their clever, supposedly going "paperless" in history classes, since it's so "modern" and "needs constantly updated information". Yeah. The only class that needs that is Health, and they've been using the same curriculum since the 90s or earlier.
Boredom isn't a typical demon. It's much like a sentient pair of glasses. It takes what you're supposed to do and make it dull and gray (as if it weren't already) and making everything else shiny and interesting and much easier to look at.
This is one demon I can't beat easily, if I can at all. Boredom disguises itself in so many ways, it's hard to notice it until it's upon you. And by then it's too late.
