The Hail Mary is perhaps, the most popular and most misunderstood prayer in Catholicism. The prayer, which is addressed to Mary, the Virgin mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, is prayed daily by Catholics around the world as a part of their daily routine. The prayer is also the first thing many non-Catholics will point to in order to say that Catholics “worship” Mary and give her honor due only to God.
This intent of this book is to help all who read it to understand Catholic dogma on the Hail Mary. Any questions or objections or corrections you may have, please feel free to private message me! I am always available to answer questions. I hope that you will not be shy to ask. If you are not Catholic, feel free to voice your concerns! I am not trying to convert you, but as St. Peter said "always stand ready to make an account/defense of your faith" (1 Peter 3:15). This, in total, is my intent!

Before we begin, the Hail Mary goes thus:
Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
