Deoxmatis's POV:
I woke up in a dark room, with a single spotlight shining down on me. An android was standing behind me, but quickly scuddled off when I woke up. I searched around the room, but couldn't see anyone, robot or not. I tried to remember anything about how I got here. I remembered being knocked out by something, but nothing more than that. All of a sudden, I heard a robotic voice coming from somewhere else in the room. ”My masters, he is awakened." A dark figure entered the room. "Splendid." He responded in a low voice. I began to remember features of my attacker, but could only remember the strange symbol he had on his chest plate. A large triangle, surrounded by circles with the letter ZC on it. The figure appeared in front of me. He had the same symbol on his chest!
He leaned down in front of me. "Hello there." He said, in a low, clearly altered voice. I struggled in my seat but found that I had been restrained. As I looked up at the figure, I could only see a person, in a body-covering armor, showing no skin. His helmet was completely blank, with two yellow slits serving as eyes. As I kept struggling, he let out a laugh, before taking out a remote and activating it with a click of a button. More lights started to turn on around me The same symbol was on a wall in front of me. There were seven people in similar outfits to the person in front of me, at the east wall.
The symbol flickered slightly, and I realized it was coming from a projector that was behind me. "Welcome to the Zargets prophets Mr. Deoxmatis." The man said to me, pushing the chair closer too the wall. The people began to leave the room, but as he left, the leader pressed another button on the remote. The logo disappeared and pictures started appearing. I tried to remember anything I've heard about the Zargets hunters, but couldn't recall anything. I then focused my attention on the slideshow, which appeared to be telling the history of the organization.
Tragnor's POV:
The Zarget's Prophets' base was on a small backwater world named Rakeret on the edge of the Goluck system. Deoxmatis was still missing, and I was impatiently waiting to be able to help him. Keti was still building up a small task force to do this raid on Rakeret. Shortly after our meeting, I was set free on the planet to do whatever I like, and I quickly found what most considered the best bar on the planet, and quickly made a beeline in that general direction.
I was at the bar for about 3 hours before I received the message that it was time to go. I quickly headed back to the base, where I was told that my armor had been given some slight upgrades while I was gone. The upgrades included a more informative HUD, stronger armored plating, a more powerful jetpack, and direct communication to Federation headquarters. I thanked them for their help and suited up quickly, before heading back to the armory to gather my weapons.
