The time has finally come! The longest month of the year is over! We can finally start living life again.
To be honest, I've never really experienced the harshness of January. I was always a volunteer, student or working at gap-year programs to ever have experienced the tediousness of this stupid month. But this year, not being a student or having a job has really bombarded me with this reality.
This month really is just a pain... Right after Christmas time and forever ago paychecks makes it difficult to get to the end of this month. Not to mention making groceries last for like two months because no business wants to pay their workers in-between the previous and current year. Although, I can't complain about that section of things, but I do feel incredibly guilty having to survive off of my fiance's salary that he works incredibly hard for. With all the time I do get to spend alone during the day and with very little money, it is so difficult to keep myself busy. There is only so many puzzles you can build, so many books you can read, or so many games you can complete before you start losing your mind. I've also literally finished and re-watched so many series it's unreal, they've become great background noise for when I need to fall asleep (not to mention I can practically say most of their lines off by heart in my dreams already). 497Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡaUY1sObjHz
I do have, however, an obsession with phone games. It helps distract me, easy to play, on the move entertainment that most of the time requires data to play. I'm not sure how the data thing works in other countries, but here in South Africa it is AWFUL. I can easily burn through a Gb of data in an hour, and that's just from online browsing and social media updating. So, obviously that means I can only play some of my most entertaining games for like the first week of every month and then it's over with. Then I have to stay awake until midnight to use my Night Owl data, and that is how we get to this point in life when my sleeping cycle goes all out of whack. 497Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡJHMCp8Srdn
But then, it's not really even worth staying up until the crack of dawn, because everyone you know or want to socialize with is asleep. And everyone else who's still awake at that time is really just... yeah, let's not get into that tonight. And with all the struggle, I still sit here. Typing. Writing about nothing of real importance. Complaining about life. It is very therapeutic, I won't lie, you all should try it out.
