"Scars are tattoos with better stories."
My sister always used to say that, but we never really believed it. The two of us would look at pictures of tattoos and window shop at tattoo parlours. We both loved them.
I loved to look at them and imagine myself with them, but the thought of getting one terrified me. My sister was never afraid of the pain, saying it would be worth it in the end, but I was still too afraid. I had nothing I wanted to carve into my body permanently, nothing that was worth the pain.
Until my sister died.
Suddenly it seemed more important to get that tattoo, to scar my body to mimic the scarring her passing left on my heart.
So I found a design worth etching permanently on my body and went to the tattoo parlour. I enjoyed every ounce of pain it cost me, because now every time I look at my tattoo I remember her.531Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡDRnX6KgY1y
