　　時代的轉輪不停地轉動著，縱使科技不斷地進步，仍然有這麼一群人遵循著古老的教導，那些從奶奶的奶奶傳承下來的藥草秘方、那些從爺爺的爺爺遺留下來的密語法術，那些，所謂的魔法，並沒有從這個世界上消失。

　　仍舊能夠施行法術、調配藥草、療癒人體與自然的人們，稱呼自己為魔法師或魔女。
　　而那些尚未年滿十八歲、在魔法這條大道上剛起步的孩子，則被稱為見習魔女與魔法學徒。

　　年滿十三歲的見習魔女與魔法學徒，都要獨自一人踏上旅程。
　　在一個不屬於自己家鄉的新城市、新國度，展開獨立的新生活，才能證明自己已能獨當一面。
　　也唯有能夠獨當一面生活的見習魔女與魔法學徒，才能被魔法協會認可成為魔法師或魔女。
