Short Scares - Bones

You wake up in the middle of the night. It is very dark, but you are thirsty and need a drink. You get up from bed and make your way twoards the kitchen. You walk around the corner but suddenly stop in your tracks. You hear a noise, it sounds like a rattling of something hollow and a faint tap. Suddenly something hard touches you. You quickly find the nearest light and turn it on. What touched you, you find was a skeleton. Soon, more and more come, taking you. They pile on top of you and you feel yourself start to sink, sink, into the underworld. What will happen next, you don’t know.

The next day, you wake up in your bed, perfectly fine. It was all just a nightmare. But, inside you know, it can’t have been. It just all seemed so real. You look to your nightstand where your phone is. Next to it is a hand, just the bones. It’s human. Suddenly you feel pain beyond pain as your hand disappears completely from your body. Soon your flesh begins to disappear, and it burns, like acid has spilled all over you. Soon you’re nothing but a pile of bones, and before the last of your life is gone, you remember. It was all real.
