Red and blue hit the floor,

Something they both couldn't ignore.

He lost touch with reality,

She tried to mend the actuality,

But he couldn't just ignore the things,

No matter how much she prayed, 

His sanity seemed to just fade.

When she found out about his schizophrenia,

She brought him a bouquet of Zinnias,

Praying beside his bed,

She hoped God would heal his head,

So they both could be steady,

Although the deal was heavy.

Never giving up on her love,

She was peaceful like a dove, 

Loyal as a hound,

To the boy who had a curse that was bound.
