I have been walking,

On troubled waters,

All my life,

But today I wanted,

Something different.

I wanted freedom,

From my inner clutches,

The pains of my past,

That laid scars in and out,

I want to see the daylight,

With my heart,

Full of joy and relief.

Will the deep sea angel,

Rise above water,

To put away my troubles?

Will it still be called,

The troubled waters?

My heart could conceal,

Everything,

But not my eyes.

It's been crying for years,

Causing the tempest,

On heart,

And distrust,

On my life.

I can wait no longer,

For my angel of relive.

Let me reach you,

Before I bring,

Calmness to my inner self,

And to the rough waters.
