NaNoWriMo Journal - New November

Well, here is an irony: my 11th issue, published on the inauguration of the 11th month of the year. Soon 2018 will be gone with the dinosaurs (give or take a “few” millennia). Today is the official start of NaNoWriMo and the big push to produce novel drafts. My plan is to finish the novel I’ve been working on for roughly 2 years — not the manuscript, but the editing. In addition to that, I plan to be drafting short-stories that branch off of it in my Anthologies story here on Penana. Or short stories that just pop in my head.

This all assumes I can discipline my mind enough to not spend every free moment constructing my Minecraft kingdom. While I am treating this play through as my “masterpiece,” that is a leisure activity compared to my writing — a burgeoning hobby with the potential to become a form of (supplemental) income. Perhaps I’ll do my own Minecraft tale as a love child of the two. Meanwhile, time to switch gears and resume transcribing my hand-written novel to digital documents.
