聖杯戰爭，圍繞在七對御主與從者之間的廝殺，而最後一對勝利的御主與從者，可以獲得萬能的許願機-聖杯。

  而從者又分成七種職階，分別為：劍兵Saber、弓兵Archer、槍兵Lancer、騎兵Rider、魔術師Caster、刺客Assasin、狂戰士Berserker。

  這次聖杯戰爭是在臺灣，不過獎勵是小聖杯，而贏得小聖杯的御主，可以參加下一場聖杯戰爭，與來自各地的另外六名御主戰鬥，爭奪大聖杯。

  我們的主角，葉家的魔術師，葉檉生，則是這次聖杯戰爭的其中一名御主。
