由於全球暖化問題日益嚴重，各國政府都想盡辦法去解決，香港更加是重災區中的重災區。此時，一間毫不起眼的電子公司—永恆集團，竟然靠著一個虛擬實境遊戲—諸神的黃昏，試圖令情況得到改善。可是，過於真實的遊戲令到人類開始忘記了最初的自己，令到洐生出另一個情況。

遊戲中的三大組織開始在計劃著不知名的計劃，而且被牽涉其中的人越來越多。不停的殺戮，導致情況一發不可收拾。

到底誰能夠在這個殘酷的世界生存呢？還是會好像北歐神話中諸神的黃昏一樣，全世界的人都無一幸免？
