We all jumped to our feet, surprised to see one of the mortals, what they called a teenage boy, standing there among us. It was strange, really. The humans had such an odd idea as to gender, while here no binary code dictated us, for we had no gender. We were simply the Astral Beings, Children of the Stars. It was the light of our parents that we shined with, in all shades of blues, greens, reds, silvers, and colors that the mortals had no name for, for they had gone blind to the color centuries ago, with Atlantis being the last land to share the color in a way the mortals could understand. For you see, it was a special color indeed, for it was the color of love, happiness, and all that was pure in this world. Author's Note: so the Astral Beings are nothing more than figures of energy, whose shape is somewhat humanlike underneath the bright colors that surround them, sort of like an aura, but it's the very thing they were made up. Fairy's magic was a gift from the Astral Beings, a small portion of the powers they harnessed. They are non-binary, unnamed, and have no independent thoughts, for they are really beings of energy, though outside the astral planes, they appear as Albinos though a few rare humans can see their true colors which they call Auras, but they aren't auras.
