Capítulo 9: A piece of cake. Judy's decision
The Zootopia press covered the special event in which the old train of the zootropolis was bidding farewell.
“I will never forget the great dream that our late Mayor Leodoro Gonzales had for the new train," said Mayor Carlota Bellwether solemnly, "He could not see his dream come true, but his legacy will last for many decades. A new train will soon come to our beloved city, and we will bid farewell to the present with a toast to the memory of Mayor Leodoro Gonzales.”
Several guests applauded the sheep and the event began as the richiest and the lucky winners of the lottery were entering the train for what would be it last and glamorous journey.
A couple of animals were trying to get onto the train wearing maintenance suits and carrying several oxygen tanks.
“Stop there," ordered a rhinoceros with a gesture of few friends. Show me your boarding passes and the statement of what you're transporting.
“Here you are," said Finnick as he showed him the counterfeit boarding passes and oxygen cylinders documentation.
"Straight from the naturist centre of Zootopia, the best purified air. The best of the best as Mayor Bellwhether asked.”
The rude rhino looked carefully at the papers and clothing of the group. Finnick knew he shouldn't be nervous because now his friends would show him how well the fakes and costumes were made.
The security guard did not notice anything unusual and gave the little desert fox and his friends a free pass to enter the train.
"Well, from now on it's all going to be a piece of cake," thought Finnick, relieved.
The "alliance of evil" had entered the train, but it could not take the other animals hostage like that, before they would have to make previous preparations.
“Guys, how's the oxygen cylinders installation going?”
“Everything is going perfectly, boss," said Duke Roedriguez.
“Well, Nick, what about the guards?”
“They look hard, but even the hardest one needs to breathe.”
“And the others?”
“Yax already took Flash to the cockpit. I'm sure they've already neutralized the driver. Then, our dear hippie friend will go to the dining car and do the same with the chef," smiled Nick.

All the train cars were refurbished and what used to be a crowded space with cheap seats was now transformed into several wagons that were environments for a luxurious casino or a five-star restaurant for the super-rich.
Once all the guests were inside, the doors closed and they immediately noticed how the purified air was circulating through the area.
“Oh, what pure and invigorating air," said Mayor Bellwheter to herself when a subject caught her attention.
"Lord Sheng, I'm glad you accepted my invitation.”
“Mayor Bellwhether, I would never have thought to miss such a noble gala in honor of our dear friend Leodoro.”
“I love to hear you talk like that, Lord Sheng. I hope you, like everyone else, enjoy the mobile gala.”
“Oh, believe me, Mayor, I'm sure I'll enjoy the evening. In addition, what better place to see the fireworks, without taking into account the fact that all the cabins are pressurized and we can breathe this wonderful air without the use of those annoying masks...”
“A thousand apologies, could you give me your masks to keep them safe if you don't mind?” A waiter asked politely, so the sheep and the dreadful peacock gave him the blessed biological protection masks, which in case of emergency had a limited reserve of air.
The waiter retired with the masks trying to hide a hidden smile. It was Nick Wilde.
The mayor said goodbye to the peacock so that she could talk to the other guests, and the evil bird went to one of the windows and looked out over the city with a gloomy gesture.
"Soon everyone in the zootropolis will fall seriously ill. There will be so many that the hospitals will collapse and the city's economy will go down. Bellwether will not be able to control the situation and everyone will ask for her resignation with the rest of the councillors. Lord Sheng asked the nearest waiter to give him a glass of champagne, and then the bird silently toasted, staring at the city.

The psychotic bird took the delicate drink and handed the glass back to the waiter.
"What a strange bird," thought Duke Roedrigues as he walked away from the terrifying white. "Well, at least I stole a lot of bills and a key..."
Guests chatted animatedly as they drank and tasted some delicacies, something that the few guards who went from one wagon to another could not do to perform their duties of vigilance.
“A drink, gentlemen?” A one of the waiters offered champagne to a couple of guards, who refused.
“Oh, excuse me," said the waiter, "I see that you are the security officers, since you are wearing your biological protection masks on one side. Well, don't worry, I can't offer you drinks, but at least I can offer you a couple of canapés if you take a walk around the dining car and go straight to the kitchen car, there I can assure you that the Mayor won't see you” the waiter winked at them, so the security guards smiled sideways to make him understand their acceptance.
Finnick walked away from the security guards while in the kitchen, Yak prepared his famous canapés with his mother's secret recipe, which contained strong doses of cannabis, which could not be felt when tasted, but which after a couple of minutes would put even the largest animal to sleep.

It was starting to rain in the area of the old abandoned sheds. A multitude of tiny shadows moved from one side to the other, all of them without emitting any noise or using any light to betray their position.
“You see, I told you that this time we really should put on our police suits," said Detective Chip in anger to his friend Dale, both of whom were soaking wet to the bone.

“Chief Rosano, is it wise to send Detective Hackwrench to run the operation? As far as I know, she is the forensic science specialist and I don't think a field operation of this magnitude is on her curriculum.”
“Detective Gadget? You're wrong, deputy mayor. Excuse me, but this old dog doesn't have the memory of the old days.”
“I'm city councilman Calico Briggs, but my friends call me Callie...”
“Can I call you Callie?” She was paternally interrupted by the bobtail dog.

Monterey pulled Zipper out of his suit, the fly spread its dry wings and flew towards the pig and his lackeys, while his "master" turned on the listening equipment and transmitted the entire conversation to Gadget, who in turn transmitted it all to Callie and Rosano.
“Look at that stupid Sheng, alias: "I'm so important that even my shit doesn't smell like yours" spat Buajaja, who watched the ZNN news.
“Well, he's a peacock for a reason, meow" joked Annapuma.
“And by the way, nya, it's been almost a week and that toilet paper-colored bird hasn't contacted us," Unipuma said.
“Boss, I'm getting impatient," said one of the men, "we already gave that feathered guy the urine samples we stole from the hospital and...”
Needless to say, from Monterey to Rosano, the criminals' conversation fell like a bomb, but what was to follow made them grateful for the obstinacy of Judy Hoops and Key Keyhearth.

Gadget communicated the new information to Callie Briggs and Chief Rosano.

"Callie, get me Keyhearth and Hoops. It's time to test their Bonaparte.”

Inside the small, newly built tank, the cat and rabbit could not believe what they heard from the transmitter.
“And that's the way it is," the police commissioner told them. We must take Buajaja by surprise or the old town of our beloved city will be devastated, regardless of the fact that many innocent citizens of Little Rodentia will die.
"We will soon be giving you coordinates and approach vectors. This operation should be short, brutal, but with the efficiency of a surgeon. We are in your hands, don't let us down.”
The intense rain was falling with unusual force, so much so that it could be heard inside the tank. Juddy looked at Key, who was also apprehensive, nervous and frightened.
