Jasmine had just moved in with her new foster family, and as soon as she saw the house, something didn't feel right. it doesn't take long for Jasmine to realize that her foster parents don't pay her much attention, and that they have a daughter the same age as Jasmine, but never bothered to introduce the two. the main character, who is unnamed, has always been the underdog, and even with her friends, never felt like they understood her. As if to prove it, they abandon her between the first and second door, leaving her to either explore whatever is calling her from behind the door, or return to living the lie she called life. However, she has no way of knowing that once she steps through that door into a realm of elves, and fairy, and magic, that she can never return to the world she once knew, or if she did it would do no good, for that world is long gone to her, any trace of her exsistance gone.
