「我累了。真的累了。」

生於香港的少女，陳雪怡，懷着跟許多青少年一樣的煩惱和壓力。今年十四歲的她，對學業、生活和家庭都產生了疑問。種種的問題使她感到十分疲倦，不願再如行屍走肉般活着。

某天，選擇跳樓的她竟在失去意識後來到一個奇幻的地方。那兒住着一個毒舌的女孩，見到陳雪怡後說的第一句話就是：「你還想看着那道門多久？不懂得開門嗎？」

門後是一間圖書館。館裏的書不是一般的圖書，而是陳雪怡的記憶。

在這兒，陳雪怡將再次回顧她的一生。與女孩一起，尋找屬於自己的答案，以及解開一直以來對人生的疑問。

「拼命地活下去吧！隨心所欲地活下去吧！自由地活下去吧！唯有這樣，你才能感受到活着的滋味，明白活着的美好。你，永遠不是孤獨一人。」
