蝕噬之爭是場打了數億年的長久戰，但你得知道，這個所謂的凡間大陸撐不了這麼久的破壞和催殘，所以裂開了，許多無法飛行的生物和人種，不是逃往山中，就是掉進深淵裡，而可憐的惡魔掉了下去，天使因而戰勝，並飛往天上形成了天堂，當然惡魔就在地底下建造了地獄。而地底裂開有如吞蝕,吞噬，所以稱為「蝕噬之爭」。另外告訴你一個秘密，看似和平又安祥的天堂，其實身為混種人的灰天使，如似地獄。路上走一走會被殺害，拿過的東西被視為有詛咒，要買個食物得走到同種人開的店才能買，天警動不動上門勘察，以上是部分灰天使的日常，光是頭疼自己所屬的種族就夠煩人了，真是有苦無人依啊！
