三軍人數眾，人思自廣也。故而奪惡棄惡之可能亦甚矣。匹夫者人數寡，故而奪惡棄惡之可能亦微矣。

從有固執者，不知善惡而常行惡。此人非奪惡無以成善，然其固執而不願奪惡。善之不復可知矣！

故三軍可奪帥未必為不善，匹夫不可奪志未必為善，所以見其由善轉惡，抑或惡轉善而已。
