"Inter-galactic insane asylum?" Repeated Tyler out loud with squinted eyes in disbelief. Sean repeated the same words like an echo in Tyler's mind.
At the door stood an odd looking figure. Not a human but what exactly Tyler and Sean could not figure out. It was a creature they have never seen before. At first they thought it is some sort of a monkey but when inspected closer it is not.
"Why the starin' boy?" Wondered the creature with a broad smirk. Revealing part of its sharp set of yellow teeth.
"What are you staring at?" Remarked Sean and soon the same words rolled out of Tyler's mouth like an echo.
"Starin' at a freak! That's what! Have you never seen a Monkark?"
Tyler remained silent and raised an eyebrow in question of the word or rather name. "Monkark?" Sean wondered.
"I know what you are, a human or rather a freak!"
"We're all freaks here if you haven't noticed, Monkark!"
A deep growling came from the creature. Clenching its sharp teeth while stepping into the white padded room. "My name isn't Monkark! That's the name of my kind, idiot." Suddenly Tyler was lifted by the collar of his shirt. A great urge to fight overcame him from Sean's impression yet Tyler himself felt petrified in fear. Cold sweat began to perspirate above his brow. Not knowing what to do or what will happen next.
Suddenly Tyler heard Sean roaring out his anger. Before Tyler knew what happened he was few feet away from the creature that held him at the collar. The creature shook its head as if to get rid of the pain and disbelief. Rapidly the creature charged head on with a bewildered roar, aiming straight at Tyler.
Tyler wanted too dearly to run but Sean made Tyler's feet remain glued on the spot. "Wait just a little longer."
"No!" Mouthed Tyler.
At a split second Sean allowed Tyler to move. Heading towards the open door. A loud thump was heard behind Tyler's back. Sean laughed heartily that made Tyler laugh too. "What an idiot!" They laughed in a chorus while heading out the padded room.
"Wait! Should we close the door to lock in this baboon or leave it be?" Asked Sean.
"I think we should best leave it be." Tyler suggested and walked down the white narrow corridor. They walked for long time, so long they wondered if the corridor would ever end. They met no further doors or windows to peek, just plain white walls and floors.
"Look! I think it's door!" Pointed Tyler excited and paced up to it. The door was slightly ajar few feet away from them. He paced up and peeked. The strange monkey lay on the floor as Tyler and Sean left. "What?" They called in a unison.
Slowly the monkey came to its senses and groaned while slowly sitting up. Tyler and Sean did not know what to do next.
Soon the monkey noticed their presence and threw a vicious glance to them. Tyler thought he would come charging in again. Sean remained silent with curiousity what the monkey tends to do next.
"You're trapped in this like I am. Growing madder by the second. As I saw you I thought at first you would be one of the multiple traps but I was wrong. You're like me." Spoke the monkey calmly.
"We're nothing like you." Tyler noted. Sean gave Tyler a push that he almost tripped into the room but in a clumsy and dancing manner.
The monkey gave a hearty chuckle. "In within minutes you will see what I mean."
"Huh?" They exclaimed confused.
Suddenly everything felt heavy and their heads swirled round like a carrosell. Soon they were on the ground.
Tyler opened his eyes. Everything was blurry and distant. He groaned while sitting up. Soon his eyes were in focused and recognized the environment. "The same white padded room?"
"Where's the monkey?" Wondered Sean. Suddenly the door opened that they failed to notice and there stood the monkey, again. "Welcome to the Intergalactic insane asylum."
"Oh no! A loop?"
