Without a sound the flip flop lop

Slinks towards the forbidden door

His splotchy fur blends with the shadows

Or at least so he thinks

Suddenly his long ear flies up

His special antenna triggered

Something big is approaching

The floor darkens all around him

But he knows he won’t be caught

He flips, he flops

He dashes around in sporadic zig-zags

He springs into the air, kicking into space

Only to land by a pile of parsley

Heaped high upon his plate
