This is the first tip. You know it might sound weird. But hey! This is the first step for being a brilliant student. If you have a difficult lesson to learn, you must not try to cram it. Instead you should try to understand it. (Like the mitosis or meiosis in Biology or the Laws of Motion in Physics.) If you read your lesson a hundred times without understanding it, it'll be of no use. But if you try to understand it and then learn it, It is guaranteed that you can learn it in minutes and you will never ever forget it, even if you want to. You can take help from your teacher or from the incredible "Youtube". There are many educational channels on Youtube like Ted-Ed, CrashCourse etc. So hope you'll try to act upon my first advice.
