維斯瓦爾大陸。

那是一個充滿尖牙與魔法的世界。

上古諸位魔神因內鬥而死去，維斯瓦爾上的生靈歷經千年才逐漸演化成一完整的平衡。

地上之靈人類，成為新的支配者。

但維斯瓦爾地底暗處、山脈高處、森林深處，仍有魔神的子民相信最終火神「烈貝斯」會再度復活，讓維斯瓦爾陷入火海。

史夕拉斯聯邦、蘭亞特帝國兩大勢力為了避免魔神的復活，召集了各地術士成立協會，術士們從異世界召喚了強大的援兵來拯救維斯瓦爾。

異界的援兵被稱為冒險者、轉生者、或代理人。

維斯瓦爾上各種族全然不知這些來自異界的援兵才是終末的起始。
