What originally was a fresh start by travelling across Europe has become a blend of anxiety and flashbacks stalking in the corner of Cays’ mind. As the should-be therapeutic holiday turned into a concurrence of nostalgic yet painful experiences from the past, Cay has yet again been driven into his own turmoil.

As each passing city and country, retrospection about past was followed by Judas, his travel companion whom he met not long ago before the trip. Judas was as intriguing as he was vague to Cay as they progressed. He was, at the same time, a companion for the lost partner.

As their travel nearly reached the end, the two succumbed to his darker side of despair and self-destructive nature. Without Judas’ companionship and inhibitive feelings growing for him, Cay might have lost his mind completely, or somehow be led by the mysterious companion to find retribution that he solely had thought he deserved

This novel speaks of life, or of broken individuals. Cay sought a life anew, while Judas followed his own sense of direction in the way of living. As they ventured from one beautiful city to another, would the benefit of staying together outweigh the increasingly strangeness between the two? And could Cay come to terms with his past haunting and become whole again?
