I whip around ready to launch an attack but there are so many demons, it could have been any of them. I turn around angrily.
That was the smallest victory I'd won, almost worth nothing. While I had gotten into Demon's Core, being Omega was a nightmare. Yes, I had won, but it almost wasn't worth the humiliation. My cheeks burned with embarrassment and my skin prickled at my title.
