有個家庭逢7月22日時必然遭到極為可怕的存在作祟，因祂喜歡人們的負面感情，像是恐懼害怕絕望等等，所以這個家族每年都這天把親戚聚集在一塊，徹夜大笑假裝快樂來驅邪。當晚，大人都聚集在祖父房間進行儀式，獨留小男孩一個人在房間睡覺，夜間小男孩起身上廁所時，發現祖父房間傳來詭異的笑聲，他忍不住窺看了，卻看到自己的父母等親戚，都畫的像鬼一樣的在狂笑，小男孩當場被嚇傻，他的恐懼引來了那個最恐怖的存在.....
